Maker Camp Opens Today
If you have small loved ones 8-12 years of age or big loved ones who think they are 8-12 years of age, you have to check this out. Maker Media's Maker Camp launches today. Maker Camp is a free, 6-week virtual summer camp for young Makers interested in DIY, making, creating, crafting, hacking, tinkering and learning. This year marks the fourth annual Maker Camp and last year were 50,000 campers attended. And, if you want to attend camp with other young makers, you may be able to find a place close to home, here. Last year, there were 500 Maker Camp affiliate locations across all 50 states, including public libraries, community centers, 4-H Clubs and Intel Computer Clubhouses. This year you will see sites spread around the world.
The 2015 Maker Camp is generously sponsored by Intel and AT&T. If interested, sign up here.
