Ivy League Powered Invite-Only Startup Event Premieres in November

Always great to see another startup event creating community within a given startup ecosystem.This time, an organizer is putting up 12 selected startups from the Ivy League schools to pitch to investors in New York. The inaugural event called the Ivy Startup Conference, which will be held on November 9th, is invite only and will start to create community not only with some elite private schools in the U.S. but also celebrates female founders and investors who will make up a fair percentage of the attendees and especially the investor panel. We talk with co-founder/serial entrepreneur Cheryl A. Robinson who also wrote a great piece last week for Nerd Stalker on her journey to create this event called Exclusive Yet Inclusive - Insight from a Female Entrepreneur. Cheryl explains below her vision for inclusiveness at this conference celebrates the strides women are making in the investment community.

IoT Growth Hurdles Raised by Security, Software Interoperability amongst others Our friends at NJIT, aka New Jersey Institute of Technology, put together the following infographic on what the beginning of the next decade will look like for IoT. On Wednesday, March 6 , Notion released a host of new features to make it easier for Evernote users to switch over. This is a trend Notion has been observing since launching the 2.0 version of its all-in-one note-taking, wiki, and task management tool last spring. Now, if you want to migrate your data from Evernote to Notion, you can do so in just a few clicks: In addition to this feature, Notion also launched its own Web Clipper , allowing users to save any content on the web to their Notion workspace.
