RE:UP Magazine

RE:UP Magazine , one of my favorite music and design quarterlys, just released "Manual #009 - The North Sea Rockers Edition." Every full-color issue explores a visual/musical theme and exposes several hot up-and-coming designers and artists through playful full-page spreads and inventive layouts on uncoated heavy paper stock in an oversized square format. This edition spotlights "musicians and producers who are steady rocking it in and around the North Sea." The cover article is an in-depth exclusive: The first and only published US interview with the elusive Boards of Canada (written by Steve Marcheese over at scissorkick). They discuss remixing Beck's "Broken Drum," the state of electronic music today, Stevie Wonder, and God. Other features include Annie, Nicolay, Blackalicious, and Gilles Peterson.

Glad this film wasn't made till the budget and cgi technology was ready for it, nice job cept for the little chinese kid next to me who kept talking to her daddy in manderin.
