With their new GoPro Hero5 Black and Hero5 Session they have improved on the previous model. Brent Rose of Wired also takes a peek at the Garmin and does a comparison of the 4k footage between the two.  If you are looking for a new action camera, the new GoPros seems to be the cutting edge. If you are trying to look for it on Amazon, wait a while. In a Fortune article this week, GoPro has ceased selling on Amazon citing pricing pissing match.
