What If You Added A Story To Pokemon Go

What if you were one of the Pokemon being hunted and captured as part of an adventure story that gets unfolded and retold every second? That is what Augmented Reality (AR) and Transmedia storytelling is all about. We talk with Rob Pratten , transmedia expert and founder and CEO of Transmedia Storytelling Ltd., about how AR can enhance transmedia storytelling if done right. He discusses that we think of Augmented Reality visually but challenges us that AR can be effective with other of our senses. Rob also gives some comment on the latest AR hit - Pokemon Go. How does Game of Thrones and Transmedia work? Transmedia Storytelling Ltd and Canal+ in Spain did a MMORPG game in parallel with the series Game of Thrones in Spain. They pulled all the stops on this using the series website, Sponsor in-store game codes and Social Media. We deep dive with Robert Pratten, CEO and co-founder of Transmedia Storytelling Ltd. on how their Conductrr product was the backbone of this transmedia MMORPG running along side the Game of Thrones series. 'Never Alone' Game has Cultural Roots to Alaskan Indian Tribe

At the 2014 Casual Connect Game Conference , the Nerd Stalker gang caught up with Sean Vesce and Amy Fredeen of E-Line Media on their upcoming "World Game" release called Never Alone . Never Alone is a Atmospheric Puzzle Platformer game based on an Alaskan folklore from a tribe called the Inupiaq (ee-new-pee-ack). It is story of a young girl who travels with an Artic fox to find the source of the big blizzard affecting their land. Transbay Festival Hopes to Merge Media with Tech in SF

The Transbay Festival hopes to create Innovation, Entertainment and Community with their event focussing on Media, Interactive and Social. In this interview, Andre explains the vision for this inaugural event. The event already has the closing night with  " Let It Ripple : Mobile Films for Global Change", an ongoing Transmedia Project by The  Moxie Institute , which really began with Tiffany Shlain's film, " Connected : An Autoblogography About Love, Death, & Technology ."  Tiffany Shlain, is an acclaimed director and known as the Founder of the Webby Awards.
