From promoting events to trying to get on everyones tablet news reader, Hashtags seem to be the way of life. We talk with Saul Fleischman , founder of RiteTag , a hashtag optimizing web application. Saul discusses being a distributed startup in different time zones, how to find the right partners and has an interesting story tying the 2011 Tohoku earthquake/tsunami  with the creating of his new web application.

Most people who we talked to here were always skeptical but after a few weeks of trying the Bulletproof Diet , they were converted. Today, the Nerd Stalker crew was honored to attend the first Bulletproof Conference - The State of High Performance " Biohack your Life ." This conference is a little different than the typical tech scene we frequent here in SF Tech.  Dave Asprey, the founder of The Bulletproof Executive, and his staff kicked off this three day conference today (Jan. 17-19) at the Jones Bar & Restaurant  in San Francisco.  This conference has been forming itself in the back of Dave's mind for several years, and now it has become a reality.

I was watching an NHK World journalistic piece on robotic therapy for Dementia using a baby seal called PARO and wanted to investigate this trend more.  Interestingly, there is a sizable debate amongst medical professionals and sociologists on whether robots like PARO can replace the human element versus aiding health professionals caring for patients. 

We were honored to interview again,  Mark W Schaefer , author of a great book about Influence - "Return on Influence." This book explains what the seven tenants of influence is in the digital era and how Klout has turned regular people into product influencers.
