Comparing Android to iPhone is So over

listen to ‘Comparing Android to iPhone is So over.’ on Audioboo Adolfo Foronda of Nerd Stalker gives his thoughts on the state of iPhone vs Android comparisons.

Forget Windows Phone Microsoft is an iOS and Android app company.

listen to ‘Forget Windows Phone Microsoft is an iOS and Android app company.’ on Audioboo First off sorry if the audio quality was all crackly. The gist of this post is that I've come to realization that Microsoft's Mobile business is not going to be driven by Windows Phone (which I think is DOA) but rather that it will be no more than an app developer for iOS and Android. You may have noticed some Microsoft apps on iOS as of late like One Note and some bits of Office, I've heard that anything that will be on iOS will also be built for Android as well. I think this will be a huge part of Microsofts business go forward and strategically it makes a ton of sense, the question is if the internal battles will allow for this to progress or will they be stubborn and kill the effort?

Did You Know You Can Share Multiple iPhone/Android Pictures Easily?

Image
We are not sure what the app's name means but KAYAC's Photobag is an app that allows you to share unlimited pictures from your mobile device with your friends. There is no site registration required and all you need is a secret access code to share unlimited pictures with your friends. The catch is that they are only available free for a limited time. After that time, one will need to “feed” their honey bear with some money to access the pictures. We tested this app and it is very simple which is what Nerd Stalkers like. The navigation bar has four settings Download , Upload , History and Settings . Download is for access to your friends pictures via a Photobag "magic" code. Upload is to share the photos with your friends and family. History allows you to look at Pics you have uploaded or download and allows you to invite friends to the service and Settings allow you to invite friends and see how many hour credits you have. You get more free hours of sharing time...
