It all comes down to this...

After 10 weeks of fun and amazing events to raise money for the Bay Area LLS - we’ve saved the best for last! The 2nd Annual Mr/Ms Silicon Valley competition and Finale Gala will feature some of the most innovative ideas in Silicon Valley. The "beauty" contest winner will get their shot some high profile PR to possibly get funding and maybe a shot at the TV show "Shark Tank"

Here are some of the benefits that last year’s winners (highlighted in the video above) achieved:

  • Breathometer (Charles Yim), which raised $2 million in seed funding from all investors on the national TV show ‘Shark Tank’ - led by Mark Cuban and venture firms including Structure Capital and Dillon Hill Capital.

  • Stylelend, whose founder -- former Vogue model Lona Alia Duncan - went on to be accepted into the 2014 Y Combinator class – one of the few women in the program.
